The view from top two rooms is mesmerizing. BTW - this is not a resort but a 3-BR cottage. Staff is very helpful and courteous. If no fig or clouds, one can see the Himalayan peaks. But the setting of the cottage is amazing. It's 2-3 miles down from Ramgarh into a cottage area. So once you are here, there's nothing else to do but enjoy the scenery. May be some trails are there which we didn't explore.

The experience was just amazing. We reached in the afternoon after train and car journey and were pleasantly surprised by the rooms, decor and the views. To add to it, fantastic service by Bhuvan, Harshit and the Chef and the manager Prabhat just bowled us over. I was expecting to do some MTB ride which could not happen nonetheless, the evening and morning walks in the surrounding areas made up for it. A good place to relax and enjoy Room Tip: All rooms are good. Prefer ones on the first floor

I'm regular visitor of v resorts and this was my first time at ramgarh cottage. The place was attraction in itself isolated and safe from the world. The view from resort is enchanting. You may not get food as per desire because they are in remote area. But what they serve is excellent and mouthwatering. They specially arranged halal meat for me on my request. Staff is not professional like other resorts but acctuly they are far better from that. I visited one the house keeping guys home and he was very courteous and humble. Room's are not very good like sattal or other but renovated well furniture and wooden flooring is old but that's not the issue it has all the modern facilities like satellite tv and Wi-Fi. A must visit resort for travellers who love islotaion and wanna spend time in lap of nature.

I must say this is a very beautiful property tucked in a corner among the mountains.Staff is very supportive and courteous and food is homely but its tasty.Portion of the food served is infact more then enough. The seating area next to the windows are the most apt place for reading books over a cup of hot tea. They have got a small library with a decent collection of books and you can easily spend your time if you do not feel like going out

...you would love it if you would like to spend some quality time with your family and kids, catch up on your pending books, love to trek and walk and bird watching...Food they cook inhouse is excellent and i recommend you tell them what you want in advance and they would make the best of it. The staff is very courteous specially the guy named Bhagat.
